MISSION

The purpose of the Program Development Office is to increase funding for Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe through coordinated grant writing.

GOALS

1. Produce fundable grant proposals.
2. Support programs, departments, and individuals in producing and submitting grant proposals.
3. Serve as the Tribe’s clearinghouse for all submitted grants.

ROLE OF PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT/GRANTS OFFICE

The Program Development Office spearheads proposal writing for the Tribe by applying expertise in grant-seeking and proposal development. Program Development Specialist services range from giving technical assistance and editorial support to staff working on grants. The PD office regularly disseminates useful grant information to programs which may chose to apply.

This office is the Tribe’s designated clearinghouse for all grants in which the Tribe is an applicant or partner. This avoids uncoordinated approaches to potential funding and optimizes planning among applicants. The Program Development Specialist is an “Authorized Official Representative” for the purpose of submitting grants electronically.
