To provide enrolled Tribal members of the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Indian Reservation and Colony with opportunities for decent, safe, and sanitary housing, to build a robust community, maintain a viable Housing Authority, and to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.

OUR PURPOSE

The Fallon Paiute Shoshone Housing Authority was created by Tribal Ordinance No. 1-67 on July 21, 1966.

Housing manages approximately 235 homes on the reservation and colony. These homes are HUD homes, rental units, and HIP homes. In May 2003, Housing began construction of a phased energy efficient home project west of Reservation Road with its NAHASDA block funding. A Title VI Loan will also enable Housing to build approximately 15 scattered site homes beginning before year-end 2003.
