The Fallon Business Council is requesting Proposals for Professional Auditing Services for a FORENSIC AUDIT OF THE FINANCIAL RECORDS of the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe for the calendar years CY2005-2011 (January 1st – December 31st).  Please contact Jon Pishion, Treasurer (fbctreasurer@fpst.org), or Lynn Castro, Comptroller (lynn.castro@fpst.org), both at (775) 423-6075 with any questions or to receive an RFP specification package.  The package is also available for download at the bottom of this post.

The Tribal Treasurer, Jon Pishion, is posting the AUGUST 2011 Financial Status Report for the departments and programs of the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe.  This report provides a page-by-page review of each account code’s revenues and expenditures for the month, as well as for the entire calendar year (to date), the approved budget amounts by line item, and the variances between actual revenues/expenditures and budgeted revenues/expenditures by line item.   If you have any questions or would like clarification please contact Jon at (775) 423-6075 or by e-mail at fbctreasurer@fpst.org.  Thank you.

Renewable Energy Feasibility Study and Energy Conservation Study

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to conduct a renewable energy feasibility study and energy conservation study.  The proposed project is to evaluate and document the potential for development of a variety of renewable energy projects, and to conduct an energy conservation study and provide an implementation plan for energy conservation, on the Tribe’s Reservation and Colony.  To download a copy of the RFP, click here to go to the Fallon Tribal Development Corporation’s website.

Tribe Awarded $1.6 Million Dollars in New Grant Awards

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe is pleased to announce that it has been recently notified that it will receive approximately $1.6 million dollars in grants.  The following is a breakdown of the newly-notified grant awards:
