UPDATE: The Spaghetti Feed, Bingo and Raffle raised the necessary funds to travel to Las Vegas.
Orianah Street won the Churchill County School District Spelling Bee, a district-wide competition with up to two participants from each elementary school’s 6th grade classroom, for a total of just over 20 spellers. Orianah qualified for the spelling bee after earning one of the top two scores on a 50 word qualification test given to her class taught by Ms. Kristina Murphy. According to Ms. Murphy, Orianah was a last minute addition to the program. …
