To Program: Take Bus #40 from Churchill County Schools to the Tribal Education Center
To Home: Tribal Vans will provide transportation to the Colony, Fox Peak and Reservation residents
Applications: Applications must be completed prior to student participation in the program. Applications are available at the Tribal Administration and Tribal Education buildings.
Program Capacity: Once program capacity is reached a waiting list will be established.

Daly Scholarship Fund for the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
The scholarship will give preference to Native American students who wish to pursue careers in the hotel and gaming industry. It is designed to help develop the next generation of leaders in the Tribal gaming industry. The award will take place for the Fall semester of 2009.

Rochanne Downs, the mother of two girls and two boys; wife to Scott Downs; daughter of Elva Wells; sister of Yvonne Capucci; the Director, Education Department; former member of the Fallon Tribal Development Corporation; and Vice-Chairman, Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe has successfully begun recovery from her auto immune disease – microscopic polyangiitis. On June 11, 2009 the Education Department held a “Congratulation Dinner” to honor our 2008-2009 Graduates. Reverend Ernie Hooper offered the opening prayer followed by the Roy Redner Drum Group and the Entrance of Graduates. Cathi Tuni, Tribal Resource Teacher offered the welcome and the Eagle Wing Dancers sang the “Flag Song”.
