Update The Western Shoshone Educational Trust Fund was created as part of the Western Shoshone Claims Distribution Act to assist the Western Shoshone people with additional educational financial assistance. It is known as the Western Shoshone Educational Trust Fund overseen by the Western Shoshone Education Trust Fund-Administrative Committee with representatives appointed from the four tribes of Western Shoshone, two Western Shoshone Communities and an At Large representative appointed by the Secretary of the Interior.

The following link will allow you to download the decision from the Election Tribunal Court regarding the challenges to the 2012 General Election. In the decision, the judges denied three of the challenges, while one of the original challenges was withdrawn. Based on this, the swearing in of the newly elected Council Members will take place on November 13, 2012, at the next regular Council Meeting following the court hearing and receipt of the decision.
