Julie Deems
GBITNC Project Assistant

Julie Deems is the GBITNC Project Assistant. She has been employed with the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe since 2003. Julie is a member of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe and enjoys working with the Great Basin Tribes. Prior to being employed with the Fallon Tribe, Julie worked as a caregiver for the elderly. Julie has a special way in working with elders which is greatly benefits GBITNC activities.

Julie is a single mom with two children Christina and Mathew. She has learned about the struggles that Tribes face with repatriating our ancestors and works hard to help Tribes with their efforts.
