The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the overall personnel management, which includes recruitment, employee relations, employee benefits program, salary administration, workers compensation, grievance and appeal system, and personnel records management. Must be able to write, interpret and explain complex personnel policies, procedures, laws and regulations, but not limited to the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), Indian Preference, Workers Compensation, COBRA, Employment Law and Regulations. A Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of professional personnel experience or a combination of education and management experience to coordinate a personnel program. Prefer personnel management experience in tribal or governmental setting. Must pass a background check and pre-employment and on-going random drug testing, employees authorized to drive employer vehicle must possess a current valid Nevada driver’s license and acceptable driving record as determined by the Tribe’s insurance company. Preference given to qualified Native American applicants in accordance with 25 CFR. Pays $17.24-$20.59/hourly, open until filled.
