LABORER

Under the general supervision of the Environmental Manager, the Temporary Laborer will perform work for the completion of the assigned project which consists of eradicating Salt Cedar (tamarisk) from designated areas in the Tribal Wetlands and pile in designated areas for burning. Must complete mandatory safety training. Duties may include raking, loading, burning and cutting. Will perform duties in such a manner that the projects assigned by the Environmental Manager will be completed promptly, safely and efficiently. Will work with the Environmental Manager and other designated persons, to develop and complete job requirements. Other job related duties as assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds. Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent. Two (2) years’ work experience in heavy experience in heavy equipment operations or closely related field. Preference given to qualified Tribal and Indian applicants in accordance with 25 CFR.
